The victim said that he accompanied the suspect to a beach in Lorette and after smoking a cigarette he had given her, he did not remember anything else.

He was released from prison on May 17 after spending nearly two years on charges of stalking and raping a 21-year-old woman in June 2020. A few days later the conviction of the Girona Court was revealed. He was acquitted of a felony of sexual assault, for which the prosecutor’s office asked him to serve 9 years in prison and 12 years to the Laureate City Council as a popular charge. However, the court held that there was suspicion that he had committed the offense and the defendant explained in his statement that the sexual relations were consensual.

This Friday, Mossos again arrested the 29-year-old suspect, of Moroccan nationality, on charges of misbehaving with a tourist on a beach in Llorette de Mar on Tuesday morning. According to TV3, agents suspect that he may have given her some sort of substance to tame her, as the victim announces that he has left with sand, smokes a cigarette he gave her and then returns to her. It started to feel bad besides seeing how he caressed her while she refused. He doesn’t remember anything else and wakes up on the beach without underwear. The woman told that she had met the suspect a few hours ago.

Now the agents are probing this sexual assault and they are waiting for the multiple medical results done on the victim as she was examined in the hospital before registering the complaint. The suspect will go to court in the next few hours and may return to the jail from where he was released 15 days ago.
